Police have confirmed that a young girl who went missing days before Christmas has been found ‘safe and well’. An urgent appeal was launched on Monday to find Mya Robsinson, nine, from Redcar, north east England. She had not been seen since 9.30am this morning on Rydal Avenue in the seaside town, close to Redcar Racecourse. Over 3,300 people shared the appeal on Facebook, with one writing they were ‘worried sick’. However, Cleveland Police confirmed this evening that Mya had been located. They said: ‘The 9 year old girl missing from Redcar has been located safe and well. ‘Thank you to the thousands of people who shared the appeal!’
